  • 2011 Brown Coal Innovation Australia, Hoadley, Hapgood and Chafee, Granulation and drying of brown coal, $1.2 million over 3 years
  • 2008 Australian Research Council Discovery Project: Hapgood & Rhodes,“Design of Granule Microstructure in Fluidised Bed Granulation: Modelling and Experimental Realisation”, $390,000 over three years.
  • 2007 DOW Chemical Company, “Foam Granulation”, US$60,000 over 3 years.
