Chris is a Research Fellow in the Public Transport Research Group at the Monash Institute of Transport Studies in the Department of Civil Engineering. He is also the Deputy Director of the Sustainable and Effective Public Transport – Graduate Research Industry Partnership (SEPT-GRIP). Prior to joining Monash, Chris worked as a transport planner for 12 years, both with the Victorian government and in consulting. His research interests span the areas of travel demand management, public transport and land use planning. In 2015, Chris received the Emerging Transport Professional of the Year Award from the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Australia and New Zealand Section.
