Master of Transport

Please note that the Master of Transport has been re-structured for all new students entering Semester 1, 2016 onwards. 

  • 4 year degree in Engineering, Science, Applied Science OR 3 year degree with appropriate postgraduate qualifications.  Student completes 48 credit points in the program and is granted 24 credit points Advanced Standing to achieve the full 72 credit points required for the Masters.
  • 3 year degree in Engineering, Science or Applied Science.  Student completes full 72 credit points required to graduate with the Masters.

The Master of Transport is offered as an Off-Campus Learning (on-line distance education) degree program which covers both transport and traffic studies and is designed to meet the needs of practicing professionals.

The Master of Transport degree offers students the flexibility to select a group of elective units depending on whether they wish to develop their expertise in transport planning or traffic engineering.

The Cut-off Dates for Submission of Applications for each semester are fixed. To avoid disappointment, please ensure that your application (with the required backing academic transcripts) is sent prior to the relevant Semester Cut-off Date.
