Engineering First Year Enrolments
Congratulations and welcome to the Faculty of Engineering!
Students offered a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) should follow the instructions below. International students must enrol in person and should follow the instructions in their letter of offer.
You are invited to attend a course information session for round 1, to assist you with accepting your enrolment and completing your enrolment requirements online using the faculty's unique online course information system and the Web Enrolment System (WES). If you are unable to attend the Pre-enrolment session, or if you have received a Round 2 offer, you will be able to view much of the pre-enrolment information online (see round 2 and course information online).
Deferring your offer
If you wish to defer your offer (ie you do not wish to study in 2010 but would like to take up your offer for 2011), please click here.
Accepting your offer
After you have attended the course information session (Round 1) or viewed the course information material online (Round 2) there are five steps to accepting your offer.
Step 1 - Create a Monash computer account
Step 2 - Complete the commencing students survey
Step 3 - Select your units
Step 4 - Complete your online enrolment tasks
Step 5 - Go to the Student Services Centre to obtain a student ID card
Please note that WES is only available for enrolments to Engineering students between 24th Jan - 29th Jan.
Advanced standing
If you wish to apply for credit transfer for previous tertiary level studies, you will need to speak to the Academic Adviser on enrolment day. Please remember to bring full details of the contents of the units studied and for which credit is being sought on enrolment day. (This information should be reasonably comprehensive. Handbook entries of two or three lines will not be acceptable). You may continue with your online enrolment, however if you have studied Enhancement subjects at Monash University you may not be able to enrol in all your selected units.
More information on enrolment can be found on the new enrolments website.
